Blur - Charmless Man
Yes! We like the outside cover because of the connotation between the artists name and the picture, which is also blurred. The idea of using the street sign makes it look very realistic. The figure on the cover is confines to the conventions of the indie genre because his costume is very casual and he is smoking.
The back of the CD cover does not demonstrate a clear and realistic picture, so it makes the back cover ambiguous and almost a "blur of images" which, again connotes to the band name.
No! We don't really like the onside cover because I don't think it is very reflective of the band. I don't think the location and props are very Blur.
"Looks more like One Direction than Blur" Natalie Slade quotes.
There is nothing on the spine!!!
The CD cover shows us that the music is going to be typically Indie because you can see the band, they are dressed in quite dark casual clothing. The props are the flag and cigarettes which is associated with the indie culture.
The colours are quite dull, the three main colours are red, white and blue but even those colours have been darkened and dulled down.

The homepage is great! It contains all the information and images in it that we would expect and want to see. The images are reflective of the band because you have got the cigarettes and alcohol, also you have a picture of the band at the top and it keeps to the same theme shown throughout the album cover.

Maccabees - Colour It In
Yes! Its very colourful and matches with the song very well. The detail that has been put in of using the colours works really well as a whole. Alot of effort has gone into the photograph on the front covers, in the organization of the props. One theme has been followed throughout which links into the rest of the digipack.
Yes we like the inside covers! Its very creative in the way each lego person represents a band member.
The colours might represent the different characteristics of each band member. We can see the band is indie because of the randomness of the content.
They don't have their iconography on the covers so the bands selling point is not their appearances but their music.
The colours used are mainly red, white blue and yellow. they are very bright and cheerful colours.
The only information on the spine is the band name and the title of the album.

The homepage is good, the simplicity of it presents a comfortable and fresh image to audiences. The buttons of the page includes everything we would like to find out, iconography of the band memebers are also clearly shown. However, it could have learnt from Blur's homepage where their music, new album, tour dates are all shown on the front page. But overall the homepage is quite well done, we also like the font type of buttons, it presents the catchy and playful image of the band.
Dominant coulours: Blue/ Red/ Yellow/ White
They are all bright colours which are appropriate to present the band's image.
