The XX - You Got The Love (Florence and the Machine Remix)

This was another one of my ideas, because my group had to songs (other 2 choices) to decide on I also knew this song which has a remix of both artists in. This is my favourite song by far as it is upbeat, different and we already have an idea for this video being 'architects of air' which seems really fun and interesting to be set in a music video! I really like this song and hope this is our decided choice.

Florence and the Machine - Leave My Body

I really liked this song choice by Kristy! I understood how we could think of a great narrative to go in the video and I had several ideas as well, maybe the setting being in the snow and also the costume being a long white dress. The only thing I thought could be a problem for this song was the lip syncing as at points in the song it seems to be fast lyrics. I really like this song choice and think we could expand on this!

The xx - Angels
I suggested this song for my groups music video. I chose this song because over the holiday period i had began to think of ideas for how it could be presented. I had this thought of one of the edits to be black and white and another to have lights (candles and fairy lights). I also wanted it to be in slow motion part way through to give a relaxed feel to the video. I thought I could advance on this song and maybe think of something that an audience would overall prefer. I also felt maybe this type of music video wouldn't keep the audience interested all the way through and it may seem quite easy and basic to shoot.

This is my favourite song by far! When I listen to it I can imagine so many different music videos and shots. I have a few ideas for this video and i really love the air architects idea and hope that we will be able to use it :)

The XX - Angels

This song is great! I have never heard of this band before but I love this song. I can see a black and white music video to it. But compared to the other songs this is my least favourite.

Florence and the Machine - Leave My Body

I suggested this song. I really love it and think we could do a great narrative to it. I have so many ideas for a music video to this song already but I also think that it would be quite difficult to mimic Florence and the Machine because of her crazy outfits and hair and makeup. Also a few of the ideas I have for this video are quite unrealistic.
